Introduction to Hair Transplant Training Course
The International Institute of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine (IICSAM) provides a full-fledged hair transplant training course. The course aims at imparting theoretical as well as practical knowledge regarding FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation). These courses involve theoretical lectures, which pertain to basic subjects, such as hair anatomy, causes for hair loss, medical treatments, alternative options, and basic approaches for hair transplantation procedures.

Types of Hair Transplant Techniques Covered
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)
Participants can practice harvesting approximately 500 grafts using the FUE technique, administer local anesthesia and tumescence, and perform slit-making with precision while ensuring the correct angle, direction, and density.
Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)
They also gain experience in the extraction and closure of the strip method (FUT), slivering grafts, and the delicate process of graft insertion, which is considered one of the most challenging aspects of the procedure. Trainees will utilize dummies or training models to improve learning prior to carrying out tasks on real clients.
Curriculum and Modules
Learning sessions on the hair transplant training course include those on the consultation and evaluation of the patient. It is here that the trainees are trained on how to conduct a consultation with the clients on the procedure. They are trained on how to assess the clients’ expectations, how to plan the whole procedure, and how to create a proper hairline. The course then continues with a practical training component. It is here that they learn how to observe a real hair transplant surgery conducted by a professional surgeon. Thereafter comes a hands-on training component on the whole procedure. Programme 1
BATCH COURSE with 3 days practical hands-on training program
Under the Batch Programme, we accept a maximum of 5 Doctors in order to give individualized attention to all our trainees every six months.
Initially, there is access to 13 hours of online pre-recorded lecture material, with an online Q&A session to clear the doubts once every 2 weeks at a predetermined time.
After that, we will organize hands-on training on real patients for 3 days.
In the Hands-on training, our attending doctors get hands-on experience of each step, including Hair Line Marking, trichoscopy, Pre-procedure preparations, L.A., Slit making, Grafts extraction, and Insertion.
